Queensland Flood Relief

Country:
Australia

Queensland has been devastated by heavy and sustained  rain, causing flooding throughout 75% of the state. We are asking our partners and friends to join us in prayer, and donate generously to our disaster relief appeal  for those in affected areas. Check our website for all the latest news on our relief efforts at  www.feedthehungryaustralia.org/news.php.

As a Christian organisation, prayer is of vital importance to us. Every year on the birthday of our founder Dr. Lester Sumrall, we hold an international day of prayer for our partners and friends. We would like to invite you to participate this year by sending in your specific and personal prayer requests.
Your prayer request will be individually prayed for, both here in Australia, and at our international headquarters in America. To participate, simply use the form provided on the next page, and send your request to the office by any means convenient to you before Friday February 11th.
You are appreciated very much. We would count it an honour to pray for your personal & specific needs. Let us know if you have been affected by the flood crisis in Queensland, and how we can best pray for youor other family members and friends.  Please do not feel obligated to include a donation in order to participate. Simply allow us the privilege to pray for your needs, to join our faith to your hearts cry.We are all grateful for your faithful support that is helping to feed the hungry, encourage pastors, andreach the lost. Your generous support is helping families around the world – in countries that have no access to the infrastructure and support network that we are seeing in action right now in Queensland.

30,537 children are receiving hot and nutritious meals every day because of you! Your support continues to be the difference between life  & death  in remote countries like Pakistan, Haiti, Sudan  and Uganda. Families around the world are grateful for your compassion and acts of kindness in their time of  need. An international prayer day is just one way we can express our appreciation to you on their behalf
